HOW? THE ANSWER IS EASY ...

IT'S TIME TO TAKE BACK CONTROL

Are you tired of feeling undervalued and underappreciated at work despite pouring your heart and soul into your job? I've been there, and I know that sinking feeling all too well. But here's the good news: it doesn't have to be that way anymore. Introducing The Pay Rise Power Hour, a service that's not just about securing that long-overdue pay increase; it's about realizing your true worth and having the confidence to ask for it.

Using my signature E.L.E.V.AT.E framework, we'll unpack what's been standing in your way and craft a compelling case for why you deserve that pay rise. It's time to shatter those limits and finally earn the recognition and compensation you deserve. Your success story starts here.

YOU ARE NOT THE PROBLEM

THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN ...

Research paints a vivid picture of the hurdles we face to muster the courage to ask for a raise. It's disheartening but true: women often grapple with the harsh reality of unequal pay, as revealed by a study featured in the Harvard Business Review (Catalyst, 2020). This wage gap casts a shadow over the negotiation process, making it even more challenging for women to step up and demand what they rightfully deserve. Moreover, research from the American Association of University Women (AAUW, 2018) unveils the emotional toll women experience due to societal stereotypes. The fear of being labelled as "pushy" or facing backlash often leaves them stuck in silence. And let's not forget the McKinsey & Company report (2021), which brings to light the harsh truth about the lack of transparency in salary structures and the scarcity of resources for women to build their negotiation skills. These are not just numbers and statistics; these are the real-life barriers that women face, and it's high time we take action to change this unfair narrative in the workplace.

It's time to rise above these challenges, speak up, and ask for what you deserve. Demand appropriate pay and refuse to remain silent any longer.

Is Pay Rise Power Hour Right For You?

Pay Rise Power Hour is for you if ...

  • You have taken on additional responsibilities or roles within your current job that were not initially part of your job description.
  • You have been in your role for a very long time, but your salary has not changed.
  • You have a track record of exceptional performance, meeting or exceeding targets, or consistently contributing to the success of the organization.
  • The cost of living has significantly increased in the area where you work.
  • You have invested in additional education, training, or certifications that have enhanced your skills and qualifications.
  • You have conducted research and found that your current salary or the offered salary for a new position is below industry standards for your role and experience

Pay Rise Power Hour is not for you if ...

  • You’re looking for an overnight solution. Sadly, there are no quick fixes when it comes to this.
  • You're not willing to implement the strategies and advice provided during the coaching session.
  • If your performance at work has been consistently subpar or you faced disciplinary issues, it may not be the right time for you to focus on a pay rise.
  • If you have unrealistic expectations about the amount of pay increase you can secure, coaching may not be effective if you are not open to realistic outcomes.

WHAT MY CLIENTS ARE SAYING

"Working with Sarah has helped me in so many ways. I started the sessions lacking confidence and was about to return to the workplace after a 2.5-year career break. Not only did Sarah help me work on my confidence blockers over the eight weeks, but I asked for (and achieved!!) a significant pay rise."

- Lorraine, Finance Professional

"I wish I could have recorded the coaching session with Sarah yesterday so I can listen again. But, of course, that would not work as well, because Sarah listens and gives me the advice and words that are just right, just enough and at just the right time. My path has become so much clearer. Soooo empowering, I still have goose bumps!"

INCREASE CLARITY AND CONFIDENCE

"After 2 weeks of working with Sarah on her 4-week programme, I felt a shift that I have never felt before. I started to get excited about the future again and what I can achieve. She helped me look at everything I have achieved over the last 2 years and realize that it was me who made that happen. In short, I started to believe in myself again. For me working with Sarah has been life-changing."

- Tracy, Business Owner

"I have been using Sarah Doyle, who runs Better Life Project, since November. I have done her Clarity and Confidence Programme, then a confidence course she ran, and now I'm back on a 1 to 1 with her because she has changed my life tremendously. I'm heaps more confident than I ever was. I just landed a dream job, and she's helping me overcome an issue I've been having for years. She's incredible and worth all the money!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

I've got A's for your Q's

What are your qualifications and experience?
I am a fully qualified Life and Executive Coach. I have trained in mindfulness, fitness and coaching with neuroscience. I hold a B.A in Politics and Philosophy and an M.A in Human Rights. In my work, I infuse coaching with psychology to get a complete and holistic understanding of your life (including your needs, desires, fears and goals). I leverage my ten years of coaching and research in psychology and professional development to help you find clarity, confidence and certainty in life.

Can you guarantee that I will successfully get a pay rise?
No. This is not how pay rises work. You don't just get something because you have asked for it, but what you do get is the confidence to ask, clarity on your position and a roadmap to support you move forward regardless of the answer.

When can I get started?
The sooner you apply, the sooner you can get started. I will be sure to let you know if there is a long waiting list.

What happens if I want to continue working with you?
If you would like to continue working together, I will invite to join me on my Clarity and Confidence Programme.

I am worried I won't be able to do this right.
There is absolutely no way to do this wrong. There is no wrong or right, pass or fail. This programme was created to help even the most doubt-laden or insecure women learn how to step into their power and create the life they have always wanted. This is a safe space for you to focus on yourself. This is your self-care.

I don’t have the confidence to do this even though I would really like to.
The first step (with anything) is always the scariest! You don’t need to be 100% confident to start my programme… you don’t even need to be 1% confident to start! You just have to want it badly enough that you are prepared to act even though you feel fearful. During this programme, I can help you understand your fear and empower you to change your relationship with it so that you are in control of your life.
